Livestock Guardian Puppies Deposit

$200.00

Šarplaninac × Anatolian/Caucasian Shepherd Cross
Bred and raised at Lord-Cranmer Farm, Hopewell, Oregon

Our livestock guardian puppies come from proven working lines going back three generations on both sides — bred for loyalty, intelligence, and courage. Born and raised here on the farm, they grow up alongside chickens, ducks, turkeys, pigs, cats, and children, learning early how to protect, not chase.

Their parents, Olga and Alaric, are the heart of our farm’s security team. Before they arrived, coyotes and foxes were a constant challenge — but since this pair took charge, we haven’t seen a single sign of predators. Olga, our Šarplaninac, is the boss and natural leader, directing Alaric, an Anatolian/Caucasian Shepherd cross, in their nightly patrols. Together they maintain calm, watchful order over every pasture.

Like their parents, these pups are active, fiercely loyal, and perfectly suited for an all-outdoor lifestyle. They’ve been gently handled since birth and exposed to daily farm rhythms, making them excellent candidates for both working roles and family-farm companionship.

Available Puppies

We currently have 8 puppies total — 6 females and 2 males — ready to begin bonding with their new farms and families starting November 17.
