Pasture-raised with purpose

Real food for your family

Several healthy turkeys standing on a grassy pasture with trees and cloudy sky in the background.

A large group of pasture-raised ducks, some white and some brown, gathered on a grassy pasture near a large leafy tree in a rural setting.

About

Not long ago, I was running restaurants in the fine dining world—long hours, late nights, and a life that looked polished on the outside but was unraveling inside. I spent a decade managing bars and clubs while quietly battling alcohol addiction. Four years ago, after the passing of my grandmother—the one person who never stopped believing in me—I got sober.

Her final gift to me wasn’t just financial—it was a message. She said:
"I know you will become the person you need to be to do great things with this."

So I did the hardest thing first: I went to rehab. Then I left the Bay Area, gave myself 30 days to start over, and moved to Newberg, Oregon. That decision changed my life in more ways than one.

Large Chickens for Large Groups (6-11 pounds)
$40.00

We’ve got your holiday meals covered. Our Large Chickens for Large Groups; extra-large, pasture-raised chickens weighing between 5 and 11 pounds, are now available frozen. They’re perfect for a family gathering or for stocking your fridge with meals for the week during this busy season. The rich flavor and tenderness will stand out the moment they hit your table.

These birds are raised the right way, moved daily across fresh pasture, fed a strict corn- and soy-free diet, and cared for with intention from day one. The result is chicken that’s deeply flavorful, nutrient-dense, and raised in a way that supports both your family’s health and the land we all share.

What customers say

  • "As someone on a healing journey myself, this farm’s story really resonated with me. Supporting Lord-Cranmer Farm feels like feeding my family and my soul. The way they raise their animals, the honesty in their practices—it’s rare and real. I love knowing exactly where my food comes from and that it was raised with respect."

    -Emily R., Newberg, OR

  • "I’ve always been skeptical of buzzwords like 'pasture-raised,' but this farm delivers on every promise. The chickens are tender and flavorful, the eggs are rich, and the customer service is next-level. It feels like buying from a neighbor who just happens to raise the best birds around."

    -Ben T., Salem, OR

  • "The first time I picked up our chicken order, the farmer actually came out to greet us and answer my daughter’s questions. That personal touch? You don’t get that from a grocery store. It feels so good to support a local farm that’s doing things the right way—and doing it with such integrity."

    -Heather J., McMinnville, OR

  • "We’ve been trying to eat more mindfully as a family, but finding meat we could truly trust was the hardest part. Then we found Lord-Cranmer. The flavor, the texture—everything is just better. And knowing these animals were raised with care makes it that much more meaningful. This is how food should be."

    -Alison B., Keizer, OR
